How did you arrive in real estate?
Helping my mom, an agent in the industry, over the past 5 years grew my curiosity for real estate transactions. This past year I attended law school at Wayne State in Detroit where I got to learn more about property law, contracting, and agency. I have always loved the Grand Rapids area and want to study that market, watching it continue to grow. At the same time, be able to convey my findings to other clients that wish to enjoy this great city.
How long have you been doing what you do?
1 year in law school covering the main tenets of property law, contract law and some agency law. Watching my mom acting as a real estate agent and going with her to open houses for the past 5 years. Helping individuals flip two different houses in neighborhoods that are seeing restoration with more young people moving in.
What are you known for professionally? What’s your knack or niche?
Known to be very hard working. Make sure to perform any project comprehensively and thoroughly no matter how nuanced the process may be. At the same time, I genuinely love to learn and that adds to having a comprehensive understanding of what is going in. I never settle for “because” and always need to find the “why”.
What do your ideal clients say about you?
Sincerely enjoys meeting new people and working with those people to accomplish their goals as they were preconceived.
What are you most passionate about professionally?
I want to be trusted based on merit. Eventually wanting to be highly proficient in the real estate industry yet still unpacking more and more difficult layers for as long as my career lasts.

A healthy lifestyle balanced with physical and intellectual growth.
Where did you grow up and where are you now and why?
Born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan. Both of my parents grew up in downtown Grand Rapids and this has been the place we have all called home for a long time.
Where can we find you when you’re not working? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
I enjoy trying anything new so it’s always something different. Finding interesting people and interesting places and learning their story. Love to play pick up hockey, played in high school. Going up north to hike, camp and enjoy the great lakes.
As an apprentice in the industry for the last five years, Luke gained an appreciation and admiration for the market, real estate transactions, and watching West Michigan thrive. What he loves most about real estate is that it is always changing, so it gives him the chance to continually grow and learn.
Over the past year, Luke studied contract law, agency, and contracting in depth. He is data and knowledge-driven, which is how he approaches real estate, constantly studying the market and learning from it. As a Realtor, his goal is to use his insight to help inform his clients and guide them into successful homeowners. Luke is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals, delivering exceptional experience, and connecting with new people.
Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Luke can’t imagine calling anywhere else home.
